Jack Van Zandt is a Grammy-winning veteran composer of concert music, sonic sculptures, soundscapes, new media works and ambient environments for public spaces and gallery installations. He also composes music for television, film and advertising. He is a teacher and lecturer and frequently published writer on music and the arts. His 2023 book with Alexander Goehr, Composing a Life: Teachers Mentors and Models is published by Carcanet Press.
